Completing the NYU Tandon MakerSpace Safety Orientation is a required pre-lab activity for Lab 5: Model Shop 2. This requires watching two short videos and then signing up for and completing the in-person portion of the training. The links the in-person signup are available on the MakerSpace website, under the Training & Reservations page.

-You can earn extra credit by completing the in-person portion of the Ultimaker training, which allows you to then reserve and print on the MakerSpace Ultimakers as you would like. -There is also a remote option for extra credit - attending one of the MakerSpace and/or EG workshops, or watching additional machine training videos on the MakerSpace Stream channel.
