Students have used [http://www.ganttproject.biz/ GanttProject] with much success as an alternative for OS X, but we do not guarantee that this software is free of malware. The NYU Tandon School of Engineering requires students with Macbooks to be able to dual-boot Windows or run Windows under virtualization.

Software Package

Unsupported Platforms

EG1004 explicitly does not offer support for any of the following platforms:

  • OpenOffice/LibreOffice
  • Google Docs
  • iWork: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
  • Linux/Unix
  • ChromeOS
  • Mobile Devices: iOS/Android/Windows Phone

The use of any of these above mentioned platforms may cause formatting issues and submission troubles. Students may be penalized for these incompatibilities.

Lab PCs and NYU VCL
